Blocking and Reporting Members
Keeping Callbeck Dating safe and welcoming for everyone is a top priority. If you encounter a member who makes you uncomfortable or violates our Community Guidelines, you can block or report them directly from their profile.
Block a Member
Blocking someone prevents them from contacting you through Callbeck Dating.
To block a member:
1. Visit the member's profile.
2. Click the More or Options menu (if available).
3. Select Block Member.
4. Confirm your choice.
Once blocked:
• They can no longer send you messages.
• They will no longer appear in your conversations.
• You can unblock them later if you change your mind.
Note: Blocking someone is private. They will not be notified that you have blocked them.
Report a Member
If a member is behaving inappropriately or violating our Community Guidelines, please report them so our moderation team can investigate.
You should report members who:
• Use fake profiles or false information.
• Harass, threaten, or bully others.
• Send unwanted or offensive messages.
• Share inappropriate or explicit content.
• Attempt scams or ask for money.
• Impersonate another person.
• Violate Callbeck Dating's Terms and Community Guidelines.
To report a member:
1. Visit the member's profile.
2. Click the More or Options menu.
3. Select Report Member.
4. Choose the reason for your report.
5. Add additional details if requested.
6. Submit your report.
What Happens After You Report Someone?
Every report is reviewed by our moderation team.
Depending on the situation, we may:
• Review the member's profile and activity.
• Issue a warning.
• Remove inappropriate content.
• Temporarily suspend the account.
• Permanently remove the account for serious or repeated violations.
To protect everyone's privacy, we cannot share the outcome of individual reports.
When Should I Block Instead of Report?
Block a member if:
• You simply no longer wish to communicate with them.
• They are repeatedly messaging you.
• You want to stop future contact.
Report a member if:
• They are breaking the rules.
• They are abusive or threatening.
• You believe they are using a fake account.
• You suspect fraud or scams.
• They are making other members feel unsafe.
In many cases, you can both block and report the same member.
Stay Safe
Your safety always comes first.
• Never send money to someone you've only met online.
• Never share banking information or passwords.
• Be cautious when sharing personal information.
• Trust your instincts—if something doesn't feel right, block and report the member.
If you believe you are in immediate danger or have been the victim of a crime, contact your local law enforcement agency.
